If a gift is received by a government officer from a vendor or potential vendor, the executive director or board member must complete a  Local Government Officer Conflicts Disclosure Statement if the gift(s) received exceed $250 per vendor aggregate value in a 12-month period.

The statement must be completed and filed by the government officer with Sonora ISD within seven business days of meeting the $250 aggregate threshhold. Gifts of food, lodging, transportation, or entertainment accepted as a guest are not included in the $250 calculation and do not have to be disclosed.
